I was born in 1964 in Providence RI, raised in Columbia Maryland. Attended MICA and graduated from UMBC with a degree in studio art. My personal work reflects a dialogue between myself and my viewers. I begin with a general theme and allow my intuition to develop the idea. I strive to bring a nourishing spiriutal element to my work.
I strive to bring this to my artwork. The imagery itself is rooted in Surrealism, Science Fiction, Psychedelia, Cartoons, Pop Culture, and Music of all kinds. This is the imagery that I respond to and I try to contribute to these existing forms bringing my own perceptions and ideas.
I am an artist specializing in paintings, drawings, portraits, hand painted signs, storefronts, and murals. I have been in business for 5 years. My commercial work is designed to be eye catching and engaging so as to bring attention and recognition to your business.
